The DYFI (Democratic Youth Federation of India) in Mumbai recently organised a silent protest program against the continuing lockdown in Kashmir. A number of young men, wearing white t shirts with the slogan '#save kashmir' started with a bike rally from the DYFI office in Mira Road. A human chain was also organised as part of the protest.
Speaking to Sabrangindia, DYFI leader Sadique Basha said "Anybody who speaks against the lockdown could land up in jail suggested some news reports - we wanted the modi govt. to know we are not afraid ! We will stand for Kashmir "
